Service Description

Bottom Prep Level 2 is designed for boats with moderate fouling, such as marine growth or slime that requires more than basic cleaning. This service includes a thorough cleaning of the underwater hull, followed by light sanding to prepare the surface for antifouling paint application. It ensures the hull is smooth and ready for paint adhesion without stripping away existing layers. This service is ideal for boats that need more preparation before applying antifouling treatments. The process typically takes a minimum of 3 hours for a 30-foot boat, depending on the level of fouling. Tools used include medium-grit sanding pads, marine-safe cleaners, and soft scrapers.
